Star-Studded Lineup for New Year’s Eve in Times Square

The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment have unveiled the official lineup for this year’s iconic New Year’s Eve celebration, featuring live performances by Flo Rida, Paul Anka, Megan Thee Stallion, LL Cool J, Tyla, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Maria Becerra, and Yng Lvcas. The evening will also include cultural showcases, celebrity appearances, and special activities, culminating in the iconic Ball Drop. Highlights include Flo Rida’s debut of his new single “OMG,” a performance of “My Way” by Paul Anka with updated lyrics, and traditional favorites such as John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Revelers can also enjoy performances by AGNEW, New York’s dynamic dance group, and Triad Brass, a local 5-piece brass band featuring Grammy winner Jonathan Arons.

The celebration begins at 6:00 PM ET with the lighting and raising of the New Year’s Eve Ball at One Times Square. Kicking off the festivities is a dazzling Chinese cultural performance, “Cheers to 2024 with Wuliang Harmony,” presented by the Sino-American Friendship Association. The excitement will build with hourly countdowns, leading up to the midnight moment when Gotham FC players Ali Krieger, Kelley O’Hara, and Midge Purce, alongside NYC Mayor Eric Adams, will press the crystal button signaling the Ball Drop. Actor and TV personality Jonathan Bennett returns to host, joined by co-host Jeremy Hassell, ensuring the evening remains high-energy and unforgettable.

In addition to live performances, the night will feature a year-in-review news reel from the Associated Press and a six-hour commercial-free webcast via Livestream, bringing the celebration to viewers worldwide. Whether in Times Square or tuning in from afar, the event promises a star-studded spectacle to welcome 2024.
