There’s a new steakhouse in town with a cool vibe called Lucky’s. The original is best known for turning “out-of-luck” bungalows in Montecito, California into a thriving hot spot. Now, the restaurant is testing its luck on Lafayette Street in the heart of SoHo.

Visitors will find assorted seafood – oysters, shrimp cocktail and calamari as well as caviar service. There’s thick cut bacon with a spicy maple glaze for sharing, along with assorted salads.

Steaks run the gamut from a 7 oz. Petit Filet Mignon for $56 to a 28-ounce Porterhouse for $150. Lamb Chops, Surf & Turf and Blackened Atlantic Salmon also make a splash. Or, try the Lucky Burger with mushrooms, cheddar, LTO served on a brioche bun with a side of fries. Sides include creamed spinach, skinny onion rings, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and more.

Cocktails come with names like Mr. Lucky (tequila, lime, st. germain & grapefruit, served up); Paradise Cove (rum, lime, pineapple & ginger, highball); and Scenic Route (vodka, lemon, cucumber & mint, on the rocks); among others.

The formal space with black banquettes a white tablecloths, a sexy bar and mural of dancers lining the walls. Lucky's is located at 224 Lafayette St. For more information, visit luckys-steakhouse.com
