Stephen Sondheim’s Last Musical, Here We Are, Begins Performances at the Shed

The last musical featuring music and lyrics but the late Stephen Sondheim, “Here We Are,” will begin performances at The Shed (545 West 30th Street) on Thursday, September 28 for a limited 15-week run.
Directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, the show features a book by Tony Award nominee David Ives, and is inspired by two films, “The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie” and “The Exterminating Angel,” both by the legendary Luis Buñuel.
The all-star cast features Francois Battiste, Tracie Bennett, Bobby Cannavale, Micaela Diamond, Amber Gray, Jin Ha, Rachel Bay Jones, Denis O’Hare, Steven Pasquale, David Hyde Pierce, and Jeremy Shamos.
For each performance, a limited number of $25 tickets will be available via a weekly lottery. There will also be s a limited number of $40 same-day rush tickets, via TodayTix. Regular tickets are on sale on TheShed.org.
