Legendary Japanese sushi chef Eiji Ichimura (Uchu, Ichimura at Brushstroke) makes his final return to New York City’s dining scene at Sushi Ichimura in Tribeca. Ichimura, who received two Michelin stars while at Brushstroke, is offering his signature edomae-style omakase.
The 20-course menu consists of seasonal appetizers including his signature housemade mochi rice cracker filled with Hokkaido bafun uni and Kaviari caviar, followed by over 12 courses of delicately aged nigiri sushi and temaki, as well as his signature triple-layered otoro, finished with seasonal desserts. Dishes are served on 200-year old ceramic plates.
The minimalist 10-seat intimate sushi counter offers a relaxed, yet elevated atmosphere with subtle tones, natural woods, stone surfaces, and plush fabrics. To complement the menu, beverage director David Bérubé carefully curates a selection of sake, wine, beer, Japanese whiskies and exclusive chilled Japanese teas.
Sushi Ichumura is located at 412 Greenwich St, New York, NY. For more information, visit sushiichimura.nyc
