TONCHIN To Go heads to Brooklyn

TONCHIN, known for its Japanese comfort foods is launching its first-ever pop-up in Bushwick (191 Knickerbocker). Think Ramen, Mazemen, cocktails, KakiGori and more. The pop-up will be open Thursday - Sunday from June 25 through July 12. TONCHIN’s Mazemen is a brothless ramen served at room temperature, available with choice of pork, chicken, or kinoko mushroom. Options for the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen include classic pork, spicy tan tan, or miso ginger. Family-friendly chicken wings are paired with umami sea salt edamame. The pop-up is also serving batched and bottled cocktails, blending Japanese spirits with classic flavors like a Green Yuzu Margarita and Sumo Aperol. Ceremonial grade Matcha + Mango is served over shaved ice for dessert. The pop-up is offering takeout from Williamsburg to Greenpoint down to Gowanus. Benches will be available for curbside seating.
