Tucked away in a courtyard at 19 West 38th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues) in Midtown is Tacalle. Here you will find a streamlined baby blue and green trailer serving up tasty tacos and refreshing cocktails.
Tacos come 2 for $12 in traditional flavors like beef brisket barbacoa, pork carnitas, chicken tinga, shrimp and mushroom & rajas tinga. Nachos, Mexican street corn and quesadillas are also available.
Aside, from assorted Mexican cervezas (beer), cocktails include summertime faves like watermelon, strawberry and passionfruit margaritas (on the rocks or frozen), a Mexican Mule with tequila and ginger beer, and a Hibiscus Mule, among others.
