The Migrant Kitchen opens at the Ballfields Cafe in Central Park

Central Park now has a café as diverse as the New Yorkers and tourists who visit the park daily. The Migrant Kitchen, known for its American food inspired by immigrants, now has an outpost inside the park at the Hecksher Ballfields Cafe x The Migrant Kitchen.
The restaurant issuing this statement,” At The Migrant Kitchen, we are passionate about redefining American food to reflect the vibrant diversity of cultures in New York City. Central Park, an iconic gathering place for people from all walks of life, provides the perfect backdrop for our offerings.”
This is The Migrant Kitchen’s fourth restaurant location. It already operates on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Brooklyn. Visitors can expect to find everything from The “Corn” Dog and Mac & Cheese to Chicken Shawarma and Chocolate Chip Cookies.
To reach the Heckscher Ballfields, guests can enter from either East 65th Street and Fifth Avenue on the East Side or West 66th Street and Central Park West. The café is located mid-park adjacent to the Sheep Meadow and not too far from Tavern on the Green. Hours are from 8am to 8pm. For more information, visit https://www.themigrantkitchennyc.com/
