Starting November 11, The Seaport will transform into a winter wonderland, creating an ideal destination for holiday cheer without the crowds of Midtown. Set against the iconic backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge, the festive waterfront will feature an ice rink, holiday décor, and seasonal pop-ups, all making The Seaport a top choice for holiday outings in downtown Manhattan.
Highlights of the season include:
• Annual Tree Lighting on December 3: Join a community ceremony to kick off the season.
• Chanukah Celebration on December 29: Celebrate with light and joy, showcasing NYC's cultural diversity.
• Santa Experiences: Ongoing chances for kids and families to meet Santa.
• MAUM Store Holiday Market: The popular Asian makers’ market returns with exclusive, handcrafted items.
In addition, The Seaport will host festive interactive workshops, plus an outdoor holiday market on December 3 to complement the tree lighting.
Dining events include:
• Drag Brunches at the House of the Red Pearl on 11/16 and 12/4
• Santa Brunches at Malibu Farm on 12/7 and 12/21
• Seafood Bashes & Wine Dinners at The Fulton on 11/12 and 12/11
Starting November 25, visitors can experience moonGARDEN, a new public art installation of glowing spheres that tell stories through light and sound, creating a magical atmosphere.
Holiday shopping is a breeze here too, with unique retail shops offering special gifts to complete any wish list. From festive sights to culinary treats, The Seaport provides a relaxed yet lively holiday experience in NYC’s historic waterfront district.
