Seven Seas in Seven Courses. That is the idea behind a new holiday concept at the new Point Seven restaurant in Midtown East.
Each weekend in December, Chef Becker will be serving a seven course pre-fixe dinner that’s a unique spin on the Italian tradition of the feast of the seven fishes. The experience includes seven seafood dishes inspired by cuisines from seven different regions.
Look for dishes like: Adriatic Sea: Baclá Montecato, and Venetian cod crostini; Sea of Japan toro tartare with ponzu sauce; Pacific Ocean. grilled Santa Barbara spot prawns with citrus and vanilla; Gulf of Mexico, grilled octopus served “Veracruz style;” Caribbean Sea with Caribbean lobster, achiote, tomatoes, and coconut; among others.
The pre-fixe dinner costs $140 per person and requires full table participation. Reservations can be made via OpenTable.
Also, for Friendsgiving, during the month of November, Point Seven is offering guests the opportunity to “pay it forward” with champagne. When diners purchase a bottle of Perrier Jouet Brut Champagne, they receive a gift card for 50% off a second bottle, which can be gifted to a friend.
