Tucci is the sister restaurant of the iconic Delmonico’s in the city’s Financial District. While inspired by the past, the innovative kitchen at this new NoHo spot is keeping its eye on the future.
The new restaurant’s name and menu is inspired by the heritage of Max Tucci, whose grandparents and parents operated Delmonico’s from the early 1900s through 1990s. Max's grandfather, Oscar Tucci opened Delmonico's after Prohibition in the 1920s. The contemporary Italian menu focuses on dishes found throughout northern and southern Italy.
Guests will enjoy modern, elevated takes on traditional Italian favorites like Baked Clams (Peanut Vinaigrette, Leeks, Lime Yogurt); Osso Buco Ravioli (Bone Marrow, Chestnut Pesto); Poached Dover Sole (Young Fennel, Shellfish Cream Sauce, Dill); Chicken Parmesan (Citrus Bechamel with Caper or Smoked Vodka Sauce, Monsieur). It will also be the only place where guests can experience an Eye of Delmonico steak known for its intense marbling aside from the original Delmonico’s.
"As with Delmonico's, Tucci is a gathering place and destination to enjoy creative interpretations of traditional dishes with rich histories but in a more intimate space," said Partner Dennis Turcinovic. “The restaurant is designed to create a warm, welcoming experience making it the perfect setting for an intimate dinner, a gathering with friends, or a special celebration.”
Designed for an inviting fine-dining experience, the restaurant’s décor is elegant with whimsical touches blended with modern elements. The multi-level space offers seating for 30 guests in its upstairs dining room and 30 seats on its lower level which transforms into a cocktail lounge from 11pm until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant is also available for private parties and events for up to 200 guests.
Open for dinner daily from 5pm-11pm Sunday through Thursday and 5pm -12am Friday and Saturday. For reservations and additional information, visit Tuccinyc.com.
