Twin Tails, the latest restaurant from Quality Branded—the group behind popular NYC spots like Zou Zou’s and Don Angie—has officially opened its doors at 10 Columbus Circle. With a menu crafted by Chef/Partner Craig Koketsu, Twin Tails focuses on the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia, specifically highlighting influences from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. The restaurant offers a unique culinary experience, blending bold ingredients with innovative techniques, all in a stunning space designed by AvroKo.

Chef Koketsu, a longtime member of the Quality Branded family, has created a menu that features everything from fresh raw dishes to elaborate large-format meals. Starters such as the King Crab and Uni Buns, prepared in the style of Cha Ca La Vong, Banh Khot, savory Vietnamese mini pancakes with peekytoe craband the Green Curry Escargot are just a few examples of the creative dishes that await diners.

For seafood lovers, options like the Dover Sole with Tom Kha beurre blanc and the Red Curry Sea Bass provide an indulgent taste of the region’s cuisine. Meanwhile, the meats section offers dishes like Lemongrass Ribs glazed with black pepper caramel and Cho Lon Duck, which is served with paper-thin steamed crepes and a variety of vibrant sauces and pickled accouterments.

Twin Tails doesn’t stop at its savory offerings. The dessert menu promises playful and exciting flavors, with options such as Ube Crème Caramel, Rainbow Sherbet Cake with tropical fruits, and a rotating selection of soufflés like pistachio-pandan, coconut red curry, and passion fruit.

Complementing the menu is a cocktail program developed by Beverage Director Bryan Schneider, whose expertise has helped shape some of New York’s top bars and restaurants. Standout drinks include the Salted Lychee Martini, made with vodka and lime leaf, and the Sambal Margarita, which offers a spicy twist with chili-infused tequila. There’s also a diverse wine list with a strong French influence, perfectly suited to complement the Southeast Asian flavors.

Designed by AvroKo, the restaurant evokes a retro-futuristic vibe reminiscent of iconic New York City dining with floor-to-ceiling windows, deep yellow velvet banquettes, and rosewood tabletops. A striking nine-seat marble bar serves as a centerpiece, inviting guests to sip cocktails while taking in the stylish surroundings.

A hidden speakeasy-style bar, accessed through a discreet door off the entryway, offers a cozy lounge for pre- or post-dinner drinks. For those seeking a more private dining experience, Twin Tails also features a 26-seat private dining room with views of Central Park, making it an ideal spot for special occasions or intimate gatherings.

Twin Tails is now open for dinner service, with hours from 5 PM to 10:30 PM Sunday through Thursday, and from 5 PM to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations can be made through OpenTable. For more information, visit TwinTailsNYC.com or follow @twintails_nyc on social media.
