Neighborhood: West 30s
Type of Place: Bars

Description:

Located atop Legacy Records at Hudson Yards, Ada's Place blends a smart, sophisticated feel with refined cocktails by master mixologist Jeff Bell (P.D.T. - Please Don't Tell), as well as a robust wine and spirits list by Sommellier Avid Rosengren. Cocktails include the The Old Tom Hanky Panky, made with Old Tom Gin from Vermont and Fernet Angelico from Switzerland; and Rosé the Riveter, made with Rosé, Amaro, Blanche d’Armagnac, and Lemon Juice. More than 250 specialty spirits are also available by the glass from pre-prohibition bourbon and rare Japanese whiskey to irreplaceable Romano Levi grappa and 1950 Chartreuse. A menu of playful bar food is also available, including Cracked Lobster in Green Cocktail Sauce and Tuscan Fried Chicken. A brass-and-mohagany staircase leads the bar and richly-colored lounges, and a luxurious wine room with charred-wood paneling, polished marble and channel-tufted banquettes in dark green velvet.
