Askan

Askan on Orchard Street is a clothing store with an edge. It's a place where you will find everything from a "Boys of Brooklyn" bomber jacket by Isadoro Francisco for $199 to handpainted jackets, including one that reads "Loose Lips Sink Ships."  Women's dresses range from a Barlow mohair knit dress by Greylin for $149 to a vintage denim checkered dress by Laju for $75. Women's shoes and accessories are also available. Askan says it caters to everyone, from a "free-spirit to sophisticated conservative." We agree.
