Here's an interesting concept - got a bag with nowhere to store it? Check it for the day or hour at Cubby. This mini pop-up store is like having your very own private concierge. Simply stop by the shop at Park Avenue @ 23rd Street (or reserve online) and forget about lugging around that luggage or folks loaded with shopping bags. The fee for the first small bag is $5; larger bags will cost you $8. Tack on another $10 if you want your bag delivered to you via bike courier. Cubby promises to watch over your belongings and return them when you need them. It's the brainchild of two business school graduates, Paul Harrison and Shaun So. No one knows exactly when this pop-up will expire. There's a big "For Rent" sign in the window. But for now, check out their website at gocubby.com or call (347) 231-4159 for more info.
