Description:

Fulton Center is a $1.4 billion jewel in the heart of the New York City's Financial District.  After 12 years in the making, and well over budget, the new transit hub has opened to rave reviews.   The centerpiece is a 53-foot in diameter oculus over a grand Atrium.  MTA Chairman Thomas Prendergast saying it is a "testament to the strength and resilience New York showed on 9/11 and every day since."  Located just blocks from the Freedom Tower, Fulton Center will accomodate up to 30,000 riders daily from nine subway lines; the 2,3,4,5,A,C,J, Z and R trains.  Find it on Broadway between John and Fulton Streets.
