Description:
Governor's Island is a 172-acre park in the center of New York Harbor availalable by ferry from Lower Manhattan. The park features historic buildings and stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan Skyline. In warmer weather it serves as host to concerts, art exhibits, festivals and other events. In recent years waterfront dining has also been added. The Park is open from May 1- October 31. For more info click here
