If a store could have a pretty sister it would be Kitchening. The shop is connected to Topps, a restaurant and supply shop that's been around for ages in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It's the kind of place you go to when you need oversized pots and pans or a set of bar grade wine glasses. Kitchening, which connects through an open doorway, is taking things to a whole 'nother level.
There are not only useful things like large spoons and spatulas, but also things that would make great gifts and brighten up any kitchen. There are cake holders, all sorts of pie tins and cookie cutters. We spotted bundt pans and bowls in all shapes and sizes, including a bright red one made for chips and dip. A cheese plate made of slate in the shape of New York State would dress up any party. Bread mixes are also available, in flavors like cinnamon raisin and green chile cheddar, along with honey jars and toothpick dispensers. Pretty much everthing you could think of for the kitchen is crammed into one pretty little shop.
And because both are competing for your business, prices are pretty reasonable. Definitly worth adding to your shopping list!
