Description:

Manhattan doesn’t have malls like the ones back in suburbia, mainly because it has so much more to offer, particularly in the way of flagship-style stores. But, if you can’t shake the need to shop for all your hearts’ desires under one roof, the best place to try is the Manhattan Mall, on 6th Avenue near 34th Street. Inside, you’ll find staples of many malls in a 3-story building – J.C. Penney, Express, Victoria’s Secret, Aeropostale, Lids, Hallmark, and Toys R Us. It’s not a bad jumping-off point for a day of chain store shopping in NYC, and if you don’t find exactly what you’re seeking, you’re fairly sure to find it on nearby 34th Street – home to Banana Republic, The Gap, Old Navy, Macy’s, American Eagle, and many, many more shops. The Manhattan Mall is near all kinds of transportation – not just the subway, but the NJ Path Train, and only a block from the hub of Penn Station.
