My hunt for a Mother's Day gift took me into Sabon, a bath and body shop where soaps, made in Israel, are sold by the pound. The elongated bars are striking in shades of red rose, lilac and kiwi, and the list goes on. The soaps are glycerin or olive oil based and are sliced right in fron of your eyes. You'll find fabulous scents from lavender to vanilla/coconut. I purchased three bars for under $20. Each was beautifully wrapped in natural shades of tissue paper, accompanied by a few seed pods. The care given to each bar was truly amazing and made for a wonderful gift!
Sabon also specializes in natural body scrubs and mineral powders, made minerals and salt from the Dead Sea, which are said to ease sore muscles and aid circulation. - Thomas Rafael
