Description:

While affectionately referred to as "The Cube" in Cooper Square, this rotatable cube sculpture actually goes by the name of the "Alamo."  It was created in 1967 by artist Tony Rosenthal and stands 15 x 15 x 15 feet.  The sculpture is constantly changing, as passersby continue to rotate it, just like New York.
