The Salty Dog is a popular watering hole in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn frequented by police and firemen. In fact, there's an antique fire truck inside the bar. On weekends the place is packed with standing room only. Off-peak hours, it's a great spot to watch a game on one of the many big screen TVs that line the walls. The food is what you might expect to find at a bar; jalapeno poppers, nachos, chicken wings and "four-alarm" chili. That sorta thing. They also have a number of pasta dishes, sandwiches and a 16-ounce New York Strip on the menu.
