Description:
The new Tommy Hilfiger flagship store, within the shopping heart of 5th Avenue, showcases an eclectic blend of upper crust society chic and retro rustic. Five floors of shopping is broken up by a grand spiral staircase, illuminated by a chandelier and decorated with boyhood relics displayed on the walls, everything from Star Wars masks to vintage typewriters.

The ground floor houses preppy men’s clothing worthy of any Hamptons party or casual Upper East Side soiree. Featured on tables are cotton button downs for $85, Brooklyn shorts for $68, men’s chinos in a rainbow of sorbet colors for $75, and classic polo shirts for $50. A small section features 30% off summer weight sweaters and last season designs. One floor up the spiral staircase brings you to the men’s suiting area, where $228 will get you a well-tailored pin striped blazer.

Women’s clothing is a bit of a hike up the stairs, but the museum like displays of the store will occupy you on your journey upwards. The top floors of cheery women’s clothing and bright colors provide relatively the same prep ware but in a feminine cut. A wonderful captain’s jacket was featured for $248, with plaid button downs ($98) and cap sleeve stripe blouses ($78) displayed for underneath. A great selection of women’s chinos are on hand ($75) as well as summer weight sweaters for 30% off.

With every flight of stairs the price tag rises. Women’s accessories (shoes, bags and jewelry) and a suiting collection is situated on floor 4 and runway styles follow on the top 5th floor where $698 will get you a designer dress.

The Tommy Hilfiger 5th Avenue store is the perfect destination to prepare your wardrobe for summer pool parties and winter getaways.
