Accessible through a discreet door next to the event space, Understudy is offering signature cocktails, Brooklyn-brewed beers and select natural wines. Bar Manager Seth Gordon (formerly of The Standard Grill) and George Duval (Open Bar Hospitality) have created a unique selection of drinks using local spirits. They include a Guava Cosmo with vodka, guava, lime, Brooklyn aged rum, averna and bitters; Coconut Martini with rum, coco lopez, lime and charred coconut flakes; and The Modern Forager with local gin, artisanal tonic, rosemary, dragon fruit, star anise and star fruit. Understudy also brings a rotating menu of snacks from the Market Hall’s eclectic mix of vendors away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. >>
