Description:

Wink is celebrated in the catwalk industry for having many of their pieces appear in many popular fashion glossies. All done up in pink, the boutique boasts a versatile inventory including clothes and footwear and accessories across the spectrum like bags, jewelry, belts, hats, and more. Overall, their line is playful, flirty and dotted with some great designers. Buyers will find themselves at a crossroads on the Wink floor with the option to go simplistic and hip, or flashy and full of bling. Either route will land shoppers a unique, trendy addition to their wardrobe.

Wink’s prices aren't impressive, but they don’t supersede the fairly expensive baseline when it comes to shopping in New York City, either. The Wink experience is a pleasant one – their sales team is welcoming and helpful, their stock is brilliantly edited and their overall presentation is clean and easy to sieve through. Throw in high quality, and chances are you won’t mind paying a few extra dollars for your items.

My favorite items at Wink are their jewelry pieces. The line is made up of hot designers like AV Max, Jennifer Zeuner, Nashella and Leighelena. I recently had to gift-shop for one of those people who “has everything”, and decided on a fun zodiac coin necklace featuring a pretty “water-bearer” embellishment (I was shopping for an Aquarius) and a small, droplet of a purple-colored stone. The charm falls on a delicate gold chain and a price tag of $68. For myself, I eyed their line of double-wrap buckle bracelets ($122/each) that appear like small belts around your wrist. Wink boasts their skill for toying with splashy shades by offering the bracelets in colors like Electric Blue, Sea-Foam Green and Tangerine. I also spied flamboyant colors throughout their handbag selection. In particular, an Annabel Ingall leather tote would fit perfectly in my wardrobe if I didn’t already have a surplus of them. The bag comes in an acorn brown and a bold royal blue and costs $456.

Wink carries a good chunk of inventory that you will not be able to find elsewhere, much of which disappears just as it hits the racks, so it’s one of those places you’ll want to check in on now and then for new items. The boutique is also known for having great sales (they recently marked down their Frye boots 30%). Whether you are shopping for the club or the cubicle, you’ll want to take the hint (*wink *wink) of this review and head to this imaginative boutique now.
