A Cup of Tea is a Chinese style tea house in Brooklyn. Located on 3rd Avenue in Sunset Park, not too far from Industry City, this quaint spot offers a full tea service where you can choose from an assortment of black and green teas from China. Yin, our host, prepared the tea tableside, discussing the blend, and the process for the proper way to make your tea, including cleaning your tea leaves. The space itself is very zen-like with ornate wood columns and archways that serves as shelves for all sorts of tea pots and cups. The shop can be used for a private tea or group teas . A Cup of Tea also offers a special yearly membership for serious tea drinkers. Either way it’s definitely worth a visit. See more
