NYC Restaurants

From the team behind Tessa comes Asset, a New American restaurant on the Upper West Side. For the table comes marinated Spanish olives, artichoke hummus and lamb & manchego empanadas, along with seafood platters filled with Maine lobster, jumbo shrimp, lump crab cocktail and more. There are appetizers like grilled octopus, roasted bone marrow and filet mignon carpaccio. Pasta dishes include parpadalle with duck ragout, and risotto with wild mushrooms and pancetta. From the grill there's a dry aged NY strip, ahi tuna, mahi mahi and Colorado lamb chops (among others), all cooked simply with sea salt and olive oil. Larger plates include skirt steak frites, Berkshire pork tenderloin with wild mushroom and fingerling potatoes, and Asset Burger, twin burgers with Vermont white cheddar and caramelized onions. Several regional beers are on tap and cocktails come with names like Pillow Talk and Smash-N-Dash. There's also an extensive wine list!
