NYC Restaurants

The world's first avocado bar is taking root at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Avocado toasts, smoothies, salads and bowls are offered made with organically-grown avocados packed with, as the restaurant likes to point out, 20 essential nutrients. Toasts come with names like Chill Out, Mediterranean and Let it Beet. The latter is made with beet hummus, sliced avocado, arugula, watermelon radish and spiced seeds atop sourdough bread. There are salads made with mixed greens, avocado cubes, yogurt and herbs.  The Avocaderia is also serving its signature guac with baked pita chips.  Cafeteria-style seating is available outside the restaurant.
