A popular spot for drinks and bites in K-Town is BARO by Chefs Society. The high-energy spot attracts a lively crowd. A large bar up front features white-washed brick with assorted liquor bottles lining the walls. There are small high-top tables for couples as well as sharing tables for larger groups, with additional seating in a separate dining area. The menu features a number of small plates ranging from lobster tacos to Bulgogi Gimbap, seaweed rice rolls with marinated rib eye. Other choices include Korean Fried Chicken (KFC), chop steak and braised ginseng pork belly. Cocktails include a Lychee Rush with vodka, fresh lychee and lychee liqueur and a Basil Lime Gimlet made with homemade basil syrup. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating.
