Bergamo’s, a sleek new Midtown bar and lounge, has a lot going for it. Located at 26 Vanderbilt Avenue, it boasts a 63-foot walnut bar, elaborate tiled floors, exposed steel beams, and vaulted Guastavino ceilings, similar to the ones found at nearby Grand Central, giving the space a one-of-a-kind feel. Visitors will also find a variety of classic cocktails (daiquiris, negronis, martinis, side cars etc.) and house specialties like the Spicy Pineapple Margarita, Mezcalero and Bergamo’s Cooler (Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose over ice, $48). Beer, wine, champagne, spritzers and ciders are also offered. Award-winning Chef Tien Ho, formerly of Momofuku Ssam Bar and Má Pêche, is offering assorted snacks (chips & dip, stuffed olives and spicy BBQ popcorn), small plates and rotating Charcuterie Board, as well as melts like the Caprese (fresh mozzarella, confit tomato & pesto on Filone).
