Cititour Review:
It's always fun exploring for new and exciting foods in New York City. You'll find them at Borobudor in the East Village. Named after an Indian temple, Borobudor offers a large assortment of authentic Indonesian foods at extremely reasonable prices. The crab meat/coconut fritters with a spicy tamarind dipping sauce are excellent. The "Risoles," breaded pancakes, with a chicken and vegetable filling, are dipped in a peanut sauce, and is one of the milder dishes on the menu. At the opposite end of the spectrum is the grilled chicken in a spicy curry sauce that had me grabbing for my "Es Alpokut," which tasted like an avacado milkshake. Vegetarians will also find a nice assortment of dishes. A full meal costs well under $25. Friendly service. Can't beat it.
