Brisket Brothers is a rather nondescript sandwich shop on Fulton Street in Fort Greene. Aside from limited counter seating, and a unique booth in the back of the restaurant, diners will also notice steam billowing from several trays in the kitchen. This is where the magic begins. It turns out that brisket brothers is offering some mean sandwiches. In fact, the Brooklyn Brisket is some of the juiciest brisket we've tried in the city. It's served on rye (or a club) with a simple jus and mustard if you like. It is truly outstanding. As is the Reuben Sandwich piled high with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing. The meat is just as good, or dare I say juicier, that what we've tried at Katz's Delicatessen. Brisket Brothers is also cooking up Fort Greene Pastrami, a Brooklyn Cheesesteak made with brisket, and the King Sandwich made with all three meats. Other offerings include the DUMBO (pastrami burger), Sunset (brisket burger) and the Williamsburg (cheeseburger). Prices range from $10 to $18 for a sandwich. Brisket and pastrami cheese fries can be ordered on the side. We left very satisfied and plan to return!
