NYC Restaurants

I stumbled upon Cafe Hestia while in Manhattan looking for somewhere to get a quick bite to eat and charge my cell phone. The big open space inside the Cafe Hestia is more deli style than cafe and has plenty of seating and options ranging from burgers and wraps, to falafel, pasta, an Asian menu, sushi, smoothies and more. 

On the day I visited I had a veggie wrap ($6.95) with spicy mayo. The wrap was pretty good, nothing special and the spicy mayo added a nice kick. Although the wrap was prepared in a short amount of time and satisfied my hunger, the cooks were a little rude when I asked questions about menu options. What I liked most about Cafe Hestia is that all of the food appeared to be fresh and my wrap was made right in front of me.

I'm not quite sure if I will be visiting Cafe Hestia anytime soon. However, the reasonable prices and variety of menu options might make it worth your while if you are in the area and unsure of what you have a taste for. Having said this, I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to the Cafe Hestia as there are a lot of other restaurant options in the area.
