Nguyen Coffee Supply, which imports its beans from Vietnam, has opened a coffee speakeasy of sorts called Cafe Phin. Sahra Nguyen is teaming up with restaurateur Tuan Bui to launch the cafe inside An Choi on the Lower East Side. The cafe's goal is to spotlight Vietnam's coffee culture. The menu features regular drip coffee and pour overs. Specialty drinks include Coconut Vietnamese Coffee, Ube Iced Latte and Sea Salt Vietnamese Shakerato. Cafe Phin is also offering tastings of Vietnam's famed weasel and elephant coffee, which ranks among the world's most expensive coffee beans at $100 per pound.
