Cititour Review:

I remember growing up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and as a child passing a steak house on the corner of 89th Street and Third Avenue. You could smell the steaks cooking from a side door and once in a while the cook's would literally come out to throw the dogs a bone, mine being one of them. Lots of things have changed since then. For one, I'm in my 40s now and the restaurant has changed hands over the years. But Chadwick's, as it's now known, is still a neighborhood favorite for steaks and chops. It's a mix of pub and fine dining. Up front is a friendly bar with the main dining area to the side, which has the look and feel of a cozy den. The steaks are thick and juicy. But it's the pork chops that stand out in my mind. They had to be a good two inches thick, served up with mashed potato and homemade apple sauce. Dinner with a drink and appetizer will run you about $35-$40. Major credit cards accepted. The restaurant also caters parties.
