Eating like a champ at Champion Pizza. The pizza chain was started by Hakki Akdeniz who is known for his pizza acrobatics, including tossing a flaming pizza. At the 14th Street location, near Union Square, you will find walls lined with celebrity photos and a large selection of pies. The square pies, cooked grandma style, inlcude a slew of combinations ranging from sausage and perpperoni to the Hawaiian Pie (with ham, pineapple and mozzarella), the Chicken Parm and White Pesto Pie.
