Charc, a new spot for charcuterie and wine, has landed on the Upper East Side. Chef/Owner Danny Brown is offering cured meats and cheeses, shareable plates and sandwiches inspired by modern French cuisine. Some cured meats, like pork and fig pâté, will be made in house along with some of the cheeses. Other offerings include the Frenchie made with Wagyu roast beef, boursin cheese and French onion soup onions, as well as the FB&J, foie gras butter and homemade apple jelly. Sparkling, white and rosé wines are available by the glass or bottle along with cocktails like the Scorpion Bowl for two made with rum, vodka, gin, pineapple and cherry.
