Details: Maybe David Bowie said it best with his iconic lyrics, “Putting out the fire with gasoline.” That seems to be the approach at Chuan Tian Xia, a Sichuan restaurant in Sunset Park serving up fiery Chinese cuisine in an equally vibrant space. Dishes range from the mild, like pineapple fried rice served in a carved out pineapple with pink shrimp dotted throughout, to flaming Chengdu dumplings served in puddle of chili oil and dried chilies. Ground pork appears atop a heap of noodles swimming in chili sauce. Mix it up, give the noodles a twirl and enjoy. Other specialties include hot & spicy crawfish, spicy duck stew with root vegetables, whole fish served several ways and Chongqing Spicy Chicken. Visitors will also find delicacies like sour sea cucumber, cumin duck lips and spicy Chanzui frog. Chuan Tian Xia is the perfect spot when you need to add some spice to life. - Thomas Rafael Neighborhood: Sunset Park Leave a Comment |
