Wine and cheese comes alive in North Williamsburg at Denizen run by a team that worked under Danny Meyers at The Modern. Executive Chef John Poiarkoff (The Pines), Fromager Emily Lindh (Casellula) and Wine Director Chris Wilford (Triomphe) are teaming up to offer an assortment of shareable plates made with local ingredients combined with artisanal cheeses. Think "French Onion Toast" with oxtail, and a Salumi Sammie with tubby, chow chow and mustard sauce. An assortment of snacks are offered along with domestic and international cheeses by the piece. An impressive wine list accompanies this New American fare in a casual setting.
