Details: Dim Sum Palace is an oasis for Chinese food in the shadow of the Empire State Building catering to tourists and locals alike. We sampled just a handful of the nearly 50 all-day dim sum offerings, things like dumplings filled with shredded roast duck, silky tofu filled with ground shrimp, leaf-shaped dumplings made with taro, cilantro and pork along with steamed spare ribs with an olive sauce (as opposed to black bean). Shu Mai, open-faced dumplings are filled with a choice of shrimp & Pork, chicken or seafood. There are soup dumplings filled with crab & pork, as well as pan-fried “tiny” bun. Aside from dim sum, diners will also discover classic like Peking Duck carved table side, Mongolian Beef, General TSOs Chicken, as well as a variety of noodle soups and casseroles. The space is modern with paneled walls, linen tablecloths and friendly service. - Thomas Rafael Neighborhood: West 30s Latest Cititour News
