Details: Don Wagyu, known for its pricey Japanese beef, is now sharing a counter with Sushi on Jones at the Gotham West Market in Hell's Kitchen. Executive Chef Corwin Kave is offering Don Wagyu's signature katsu, sandos and snacks. People visiting will also find Hot Wagyu ($26), a healthy serving of beef with a fiery crunchy crust. For those not looking for heat, there is the American ($40), wagyu beef with fries and pickle. Looking to move up a notch, there is A5 Ozaki ($80), a wagyu steak sandwich made with panko-crusted wagyu beef that's been aged for 36 months. It's served with nori-dusted fries. Wanna bust the budget, go for the A5 Wagyu Tenderloin commanding a $180 price-tag. For dessert, try some whisky pudding. Neighborhood: West 40s Leave a Comment |
