Cititour Review:

Dorado, named after a fish, is a popular spot where you can find a filling meal of tacos and quesadillas for under ten bucks.  Getting a table, however, is a bit trickier.  The space is cramped with a long sharing table and some counter seating, but that's pretty much it.  Dishes include a variety of soft tacos made with fish (grilled mahi mahi or beer battered whitefish), chorizo, steak and shrimp along with two veggie varieties.  Similar offerings are available for the quesadillas along with cheese.  A steak version splashed with a spicy salsa came in at seven bucks.  The quesadilla was huge and could have easily fed two people, but I managed to consume mine in its entirety.  It was very good with lots of meat on the inside and a flaky tortilla shell.  For an extra fee you can add black beans and sour cream.  Service is quick and friendly.  Orders are taken at the counter but plates are delivered to your table.  Can't find a table?  There's always takeout.  Union Square park is just a few blocks away.
