Eleni's in the Chelsea Market is known for its beautifully decorated cookies, including New York City streetscapes. But it also customizes cookies for special occasions, like pink ducks and strollers for a baby shower, or brides in shimmering white gowns used as wedding favors. They also have a wonderful assortment of cupcakes piled high with frosting and sprinkles. Flavors include red velvet, black & white, and Oreo. You can even get cupcakes emblazoned with Happy Birthday in pink or blue that are perfect for a children's party. Cupcakes with corporate logos are also available. During our visit the shop was also offering a "Cupcake Happy Hour" just before closing time. Two-for-One cupcakes. Now that's a real treat! - Thomas Rafael
