Emmy Squared, known for its deep-dish Detroit-style pizza, now has a location on the Upper East Side. The restaurant, located at 1426 3rd Avenue near 81st St, is offering more than just pizza. There is Eggplant Parm with Calabrian chilies, Roasted Tumeric Cauliflower with toasted pine nuts & raisins, and Waffle Fries with Truffleist cream. Nashville Hot Chicken also makes an appearance, along with Le Big Matt, a double-stack Pat LaFrieda cheeseburger with Sammy sauce. More than a dozen "red" and "white" pies are offered, including the Big Ang with house made vodka sauce, ricotta, double pepperoni, meatballs and banana peppers.
