Music is the force behind this sprawling restaurant on the Bowery. Esther & Carol Bistro features a full restaurant, basement lounge inspired by a recording studio and takeout window for its American comfort foods. The New York Post reporting the restaurant is named after the moms of two longtime restaurant veterans; Kevin King (son of Esther) the longtime maitre d' of Blathazar, and Cordell Lochin (son of Carol) formerly of La Esquina.
