Details: Restaurateur Andrea Rodrik is hoping to whisk you away to the Greek islands of Santorini or Mykonos at Fava Bistro, a Mediterranean spot in the West Village. White-washed walls, turquise blue accents and floor-to-ceiling windows make the space, which includes a rounded bar, quite eye-catching. Dinner begins with traditional mezze with hummus, baba ganoush and tzatziki. Seafood also looms large with scallops in lemon-butter sauce, branzino with a tomato compote and octopus a la plancha with farro, garbonzo and roasted peppers. Executive Chef Omar Luna is also offering a 10-ounce prime hanger steak and Fava Smash Burger for meat lovers. Light snacks and cocktails are also offered during a $7 Happy Hour. Cheers!
