Weighing in on Favia Light.Review By: Benny Prim
This Italian restaurant rests at the base of the 59th Street Bridge.Itís one of the few places I know of where the calorie count accompanies your entree.
As for the food itself, it was lacking.
The grilled calamari was fishy and looked like it never actually hit the grill. The veal marsala was packed with so much pepper it was inedible. But not all the food at Favia was a flop-ia. The pasta with tomato sauce was good, as was the chicken parmagiana. They also make a thin crust pizza which seemed popular with the patrons.
$15-$20 per person. No reservations required. Major credit cards accepted. Kids o-k.
Neighborhood: East 60s
