Details:

Freek's Mill takes its name from a mill located on the Gowanus Canal back in 1784. The area has changed quite a bit since then. But in recent years has been making a comeback. The restaurant is bright and airy with exposed brick and hardwood floors. The menu features homespun dishes including wood-roasted oysters, dry aged duck with rosemary honey and something called Rabbit in a Jar. Drinks range from a Black Manhattan made with Booker's Bourbon to the Freek's Mills Old Fashioned.
