Gia Lam is a Vietnamese outpost in Sunset Park known for its home-style cooking.  Summer rolls come stuffed with sauteed beef or shrimp.  Piping hot bowls of noodle soup are layered with flavors ranging from fresh vegetables to beef stew.  Larger plates include marinated pork chops, jumbo shrimps cooked several ways, and quail served with a tart plum sauce.  Prices are easy on the wallet.
