Celebrity chef Dale Talde is the force behind Goosefeather, a modern Chinese restaurant located in the historic 19th century Kings Mansion at the Tarrytown House, an estate hotel overlooking the Hudson River. Talde, who's appeared on Top Chef and Chopped, will rely on his travels to Hong Kong with a focus on barbecue, dim sum, and noodles. Diners can expect Cantonese-style dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, as well as twists on the classics Chef Dale has become known for over the years. Look for dishes like Dry-Aged Beef Potstickers; Char Siu Berkshire Pork Collar with grilled scallions and spicy mustard; Dale’s famous Cantonese Roast Duck with caramelized hoisin, scallions and pancakes; and General Tso’s Shrimp with smoked chili and pineapple.
