Gotham Bar and Grill, a New York City institution for more than three decades, is turning to Chef Victoria Blamey to move it into the future. Blamey has worked in the kitchens of some of the finest restaurants in the city, including il Buco Alimentari & Vineria, Atera, Upland and more recently as Executive Chef for the re-opening of Chumley’s. At Gotham Bar and Grill, Blamey is offering dishes like Pickled Oysters with white chocolate-cauliflower, and osetra caviar, and Scallop Ceviche with daikon, granada chili, and corn leche de tigre. There is Tilefish with Chilean uni, shishito, and baby artichoke espelette, and Spaghetti Neri made with a spicy octopus ragu, and charred cherry tomato peperoncino. Iberico Pork Cheek and a 28-Day Aged Strip Steak with peppercorn sauce and beef tallow fries are also offered. Desert brings Ruby Peach Soufflé and a Calamansi Lime Tart with Thai-curry ice cream.
